Shuliak heads Servant of the People party
Olena Shuliak, deputy head of the Servant of the People faction in parliament, has been elected head of the Servant of the People party in place of Oleksandr Korniyenko, who was earlier appointed first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the Telegram channel of the faction spokeswoman, Yulia Paliychuk, party members made a respective decision at a party congress on Monday, November 15.
"Olena Shuliak has headed the Servant of the People party. This decision was made by the party congress on November 15. Olena Shuliak's candidacy was the only one for this position," she wrote.
Shuliak is deputy head of the Servant of the People faction in parliament, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on the organization of state power, local self-government, regional development and urban planning. She also heads the coordinating council for problematic issues in urban planning.
