Zelensky appoints new head of SBU's counterintelligence department
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Oleksandr Poklad as the new head of the counterintelligence department of Ukraine's SBU State Security Service.
According to Ukrinform, the decree to that effect, No. 606/2021, has been published on the website of the head of state.
The president also signed a decree appointing Illia Vitiuk head of the SBU's department for counterintelligence protection of the state's interests in the sphere of information security.
On November 29, Zelensky dismissed Oleksandr Rusnak as head of the SBU's counterintelligence department.
