FM Kuleba reveals how Crimea Platform will be further promoted

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba revealed the systematic efforts of Ukrainian diplomats towards the development of the Crimea Platform, in particular through the OSCE and the UN.

"After holding a successful summit of the Crimea Platform, our task is to embed it in the system of international relations. In particular, we will use the OSCE platform to hold a separate event on the functioning and development of the Platform in Stockholm [at the 28th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting]. We also make efforts through the UN: there is, for example, a reference to the Crimea Platform in the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly pending adoption," Kuleba told an Ukrinform correspondent on the sidelines of the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Riga on November 30.

According to him, all these activities are a "part of the systematic efforts of Ukrainian diplomacy on international legitimization, development of the Crimea Platform as a new format of cooperation".

As reported, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba takes part in the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Riga (November 30-December 1) at the invitation of Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

After that, Kuleba will fly to Stockholm to take part in the 28th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting (December 2-3).
