Zelensky plans to meet with Macron, Scholz next week
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky intends to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz next week to discuss holding a summit in the Normandy format, Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak has said.
He announced this on the Right to Power talk show on Thursday, December 9, Ukrinform reports.
"I think that President Zelensky will meet with French President Macron and the new German chancellor in Brussel next week. I think we will continue to work on holding a summit in the Normandy format," Yermak said.
U.S. President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone call on December 9, which lasted for one-and-a-half hours.
The Eastern Partnership summit is to be held in Brussels on December 15.
