Zelensky, Canada’s FM Joly discuss security challenges

During a Kyiv meeting on Tuesday, President Volodymyr Zelensky and Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly exchanged views on stabilizing the situation around Ukraine.

Zelensky announced this on Twitter, as seen by Ukrinform.

"Met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Melanie Joly. Talked about security challenges around Ukraine. Exchanged views on stabilizing the situation," the president tweeted.

He added that Canada had reaffirmed its continued support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and independence.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly was on a visit to Ukraine January 17-18. She has held talks with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna, and Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
