Netherlands ready to cooperate with Ukraine on de-occupation of Crimea - Zelensky
The Kingdom of the Netherlands has assured Ukraine of its readiness to cooperate on the issue of de-occupation of Crimea.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"I am grateful that the Netherlands and personally Prime Minister Rutte support our sovereignty, our territorial integrity, that they are ready to cooperate for de-occupation of Crimea," Zelensky said.
According to him, the Netherlands is a very important partner of Ukraine in the European Union and NATO. "It is one of the key partners in Europe and the second largest investor in the Ukrainian economy. Therefore, it is not surprising that our bilateral agenda is rich and meaningful. This is evidenced by a joint statement adopted following of our talks," Zelensky said.
As reported, on February 2, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte and Minister for Foreign Affairs Wopke Hoekstra arrived in Ukraine on a two-day visit.
