Elysee Palace confirms Macron's visit to Ukraine on Feb 8

French President Emmanuel Macron will make a visit to Ukraine on Tuesday, February 8.

That's according to the schedule of the French leader, published on the website of the Elysee Palace, Ukrinform reports.

The visit is expected to last all day.

Earlier, Ukrainian presidential press secretary Serhiy Nykyforov said that Macron planned to visit Ukraine on February 8.

Macron on Monday flew out to Moscow to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine's borders.
