Ukraine to work with Hungary to unblock membership in CyberNATO - Kuleba
Ukraine will be working with Hungary to unblock the country’s accession to the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence, while not intending to do so at the expense of its own interests.
This was stated by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, who spoke at the Svoboda Slova (Freedom of Speech) panel show on ICTV this Monday, February 7, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"As for CyberNATO, I think that the name of the country that’s blocked the accession (of Ukraine - ed.) wouldn’t be a surprise to anyone in this story. But we have no choice but to work on having this process unlocked. However, we will not give up any of our own interests, that is, we will not pay any price for this process to be unlocked," Kuleba said.
As reported by a number of media outlets, Hungary has blocked the process of Ukraine joining NATO's Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE).

As reported by a number of media outlets, Hungary has blocked the process of Ukraine joining NATO's Cooperative Cyber Defense Center of Excellence (CCDCOE).
As reported earlier, last Tuesday Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met at the Kremlin in what was their 12th meeting.
Hungary has been blocking Ukraine on its path toward eventually joining NATO over disputes regarding language law which Budapest claims curbs the rights of a Hungarian minority, widely represented in Ukraine’s far-western Zakarpattia region bordering Hungary.
