Russia trying to take revenge for Soviet Union's loss in Cold War - Kuleba
Russia is trying to take revenge for the Soviet Union's loss in the Cold War, so the issue of protecting the entire security architecture of Europe is being discussed today, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.
He stated this at a joint press conference with Spain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation Jose Manuel Albares Bueno in Kyiv on Wednesday, February 9, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Without exaggeration, Russia is trying to take revenge for the Soviet Union's loss in the Cold War, so today we are talking about protecting the entire security architecture of Europe. The future of European security and each European country will depend on how the European community overcomes this crisis," he said.
Kuleba also noted that the only effective strategy to overcome the Russian security crisis is to deter Moscow thanks to the united and principled position of Europe and its readiness for tough actions.
