Zelensky thanks Trudeau for decision to provide financial assistance to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his timely decision to provide financial assistance to Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, the head of state wrote about this on Twitter.

"Thank you Canada and thank you Justin Trudeau for your timely decision to provide additional half a billion dollar package of financial assistance to Ukraine. We are much stronger together!" Zelensky wrote.

Earlier reports said that the Canadian government would offer a loan of up to CAD 500 million (about $420 million) to the Ukrainian government to support the country's economic resilience in the face of Russian military aggression.
