Biden endorses $350M in additional military assistance to Ukraine
U.S. President Joe Biden agreed on $350 million in additional immediate military assistance to Ukraine after talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"While all Ukrainians have been faithfully defending our common home, we have good news from Washington," Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova posted on Facebook.
According to her, after yesterday's talks between the American and Ukrainian presidents:
President Biden endorsed $350 million in additional immediate military assistance to Ukraine.
The U.S. Department of Treasury will impose full blocking sanctions on Russia's direct investment fund, Russia’s National Wealth Fund.
"Everything is for victory! All the diplomatic army, our team of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States continue to work for Ukraine 24/7," Markarova stressed.
As reported, Zelensky and Biden discussed on February 25 the strengthening of sanctions against Russia and specific military assistance, as well as an anti-war coalition.
Earlier, Biden stated that the United States troops would not fight with Russia in the territory of Ukraine.
