Zelensky, Michel discuss strengthening of anti-war coalition

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European Council President Charles Michel have discussed the strengthening of anti-war coalition and counteracting Russian aggression.

The relevant statement was made by the President of Ukraine on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I have continued negotiations with the leadership of the European Union. I and European Council President Charles Michel discussed further support for Ukraine in counteracting Russian aggression, strengthening of anti-war coalition, prospects for restoring peace in Ukraine. Special attention was given to progress in our way towards EU membership,” Zelensky wrote.

A reminder that, on March 15, 2022, in a telephone conversation, European Council President Charles Michel called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop ‘fratricidal war against Ukraine’.
