Kuleba speaks to Çavuşoğlu ahead of Ukraine–Russia talks in Istanbul
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba hopes that Ukraine–Russia talks under Turkish mediation will bring results.
“Call with FM Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Grateful to Turkey for hosting the next round of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. I hope that under Turkish mediation leadership these negotiations will bring results serving the interests of peace in Ukraine and our security,” Ukraine’s top diplomat posted on Twitter.
As reported, talks between the delegations of Ukraine and the Russian Federation in Istanbul may begin at 10:00 on March 29.
On February 24, Russian president Putin started the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on the residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles. Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
