Zelensky has hour-long conversation with Biden

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Joe Biden held an hour-long conversation on defensive, financial, and humanitarian aid, sanctions, and the situation on the battlefield and in talks with Russia.

“Just finished an hour-long conversation with President of the United States. Shared assessment of the situation on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. Talked about specific defensive support, a new package of enhanced sanctions, macro-financial and humanitarian aid,” Zelensky posted on Twitter.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, ballistic missiles, aviation bombs.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine, general mobilization was announced. The whole nation repels the invaders.

The United States, the European Union, and other countries impose sanctions on Russia as an aggressor whose international isolation is growing by the day.
