Georgia not to allow Russia to circumvent sanctions, top diplomat assures Kuleba
Georgian Foreign Minister Ilya Darchiashvili confirmed to Dmytro Kuleba that his country would not allow Russia to find loopholes in western sanctions.
This was announced by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister on Twitter, as seen by Ukrinform.
"I spoke with my Georgian counterpart Ilya Darchiashvili about the heroic defense of Ukraine from the ongoing Russian invasion. He assured me of Georgia's continued support for Ukraine. I am grateful to him for confirming that Georgia does not allow and will not allow any circumvention of sanctions by Russia," Kuleba wrote.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili accepted the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart, Ruslan Stefanchuk, to visit the settlements in Kyiv region, which had been liberated from Russian invaders.
