Heads of US, UK, German, French embassies meet in Kyiv for first time since invasion
The heads of diplomatic missions of the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany have met in Kyiv for the first time since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine started on February 24.
According to Ukrinform, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine said this on Twitter.
"The Quad is back! High-level embassy reps from the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany and France met in Kyiv for the first time since the war began. United with Ukraine and its supporters worldwide, we will help Ukraine win the war," the diplomats said.
The embassy also released a photo of the meeting, which was attended by British Ambassador Melinda Simmons, Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy Kristina Kvien, German Ambassador Anka Feldhusen and Deputy Head of the French Embassy Bruno Caussanel.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said earlier that 37 foreign missions had resumed their work in Kyiv as of May 14.
