President Zelensky tells US students where Ukraine’s strength comes from
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held an online meeting with students from the United States’ largest universities to discuss the situation in Ukraine and the resistance of Ukrainians to the Russian aggression.
The relevant video address was posted by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his social media, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“An open dialogue with students from the United States’ largest universities on a choice. The main choice that everyone makes in their life, when choosing the answer to the question of who they are. Ukraine has made its choice. Our state will never be a victim again. It will not just be an observer of life, including its own life. We can, want to and will be subjects in life. This is where our strength comes from, our strong desire for the freedom we are fighting for,” Zelensky wrote.
According to the Office of the President of Ukraine, about 50 universities took part in this meeting, namely Yale University, Harvard University, Boston University, Duke University, Cornell University and Brown University.
About 5.5 thousand students were watching a live broadcast at campuses.
A reminder that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has addressed the parliaments of the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia and many European countries since the Russian invasion started.
