Bulgaria has sufficient capability to repair Ukrainian military equipment – defense minister

Bulgaria has sufficient capability to repair Ukrainian military equipment, and Ukraine's expectations in this regard are realistic.

That's according to the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA), Ukrinform reports.

"The Ukrainian expectations are realistic, and Bulgaria has sufficient capability to help [repair Ukrainian military equipment]," Bulgarian Defense Minister Dragomir Zakov said.

Commenting on a statement by President Rumen Radev that he did not want "Bulgarian arms killing people in Ukraine," Zakov said such a dispute between the institutions is not right.

On May 4, the Bulgarian parliament voted to provide humanitarian, financial and military-technical assistance to Ukraine, including the repair of Ukrainian military equipment at Bulgarian defense enterprises.
