Zelensky, Rutte discuss European integration: Ukraine counts on the Netherlands’ support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte have discussed Ukraine’s European integration path.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Held talks with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte. Informed about the current situation on the front; thanked for the defense assistance provided to Ukraine by the Netherlands in countering Russian aggression. Discussed Ukraine’s European integration path. We count on the Netherlands’ support!” the President of Ukraine wrote.

A reminder that, on June 13, 2022, Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Dutch Foreign Affairs Minister Wopke Hoekstra discussed the preparations to the EU summit, where Ukraine’s candidacy bid will be considered.
