Kuleba to Blinken: Ukraine needs heavy weapons delivered more regularly
In a phone call, Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed military assistance and coordinated the further steps to ramp up sanctions pressure on Russia.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Just had a call with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. I thanked for the crucial military assistance that the U.S. has already provided to Ukraine and emphasized that we urgently need more heavy weapons delivered more regularly. We also coordinated next steps to ramp up sanctions pressure on Russia,” Kuleba wrote.
A reminder that, on June 15, 2022, U.S. President Joe Biden announced the provision of a new $1 billion security assistance package for Ukraine.
