VR endorses Ukraine’s withdrawal from number of CIS agreements
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has endorsed a number of draft bills on Ukraine’s withdrawal from certain Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) agreements.
The relevant statement was made by Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People Faction, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Subcommittee on the Rules of Procedure Pavlo Frolov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Law 0093 terminated the CIS Agreement on Cooperation in the Development and Use of Cellular Mobile Communication Systems,” Frolov wrote.
In addition, Members of Parliament voted in favor of draft bill 0103, providing for Ukraine’s withdrawal from the CIS Agreement on the Creation of the Interstate Reserve of Biological Products and Other Remedies of Animals, and draft bill 0141, providing for Ukraine’s withdrawal from the Protocol Amending the CIS Agreement on Intergovernmental Courier Communication.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also endorsed draft bill 0147 on Ukraine’s withdrawal from the CIS Agreement on Support and Development of Small Businesses.
