Delegation of PACE deputies to visit Ukraine next week

A delegation of members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will visit Ukraine next week.

Mariia Mezentseva, head of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE, told this to Ukrinform.

"On Tuesday [June 28], a delegation of 14 deputies from different countries of the Council of Europe representing the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights will visit our country," Mezentseva said.

"This is a direct continuation of our strategy - gathering the facts of war crimes. [...] That is, we are not slowing the pace of our cooperation," she added.

She also noted that in addition to getting acquainted with the facts of war crimes, PACE deputies will communicate with victims and have meetings with representatives of the prosecutor's office and their Ukrainian counterparts in the Verkhovna Rada.
