President of Indonesia heading to Kyiv
President of Indonesia Joko Widodo says he leaves Poland for the Ukrainian capital with peacekeeping intentions.
"From the railway station in Przemyśl, Poland, I began this peacekeeping mission by direct train to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine," Widodo posted on Twitter.
Bloomberg notes that according to the Secretariat of the President of Indonesia, President Widodo is to meet with President Zelensky on Wednesday, June 29.
Joko Widodo will also visit Irpin, Kyiv region.
On Thursday, the President of Indonesia is due to meet with Putin in Moscow.
As reported, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Retno Marsudi said last week that Indonesian President and G20 chairman Joko Widodo would pay visits to Ukraine and Russia in June.
