Zelensky thanks United States for new security assistance package for Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky has welcomed the decision of the United States to approve a new package of security assistance for Ukraine, which includes modern air defense systems.

He wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“I commend US historic decision to provide UA with new security assistance package, including modern air defense systems. Thank you US President Joe Biden for your continued leadership and support of Ukraine in its fight against the aggressor. Together towards the victory!” Zelensky wrote.

As reported, the U.S. Department of Defense on Friday announced the allocation of $820 million in additional security assistance for Ukraine.
