Zelensky, Duda discuss defense support for Ukraine from Poland and allies
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda have discussed defense support for Ukraine from Poland and allies.
According to Ukrinform, Zelensky said this on Twitter.
"I maintain a continued dialogue with Andrzej Duda. Informed the President of Poland about the current situation on the battlefield. Discussed the defense support for Ukraine from Poland and allies. Coordinated our steps to counter Russian aggression," Zelensky said.
Poland has already transferred about $1.7 billion worth of military equipment to Ukraine. This equipment includes about 240 upgraded T-72 tanks, Piorun MANPADS, Krab self-propelled howitzers, as well as grenade launchers, artillery shells, etc.
