President of Lithuania visits Irpin

President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda has visited the city of Irpin, Kyiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by Kyiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleksii Kuleba on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On Day of Ukrainian Statehood, President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda came to Kyiv Region. He visited Irpin, checked the damaged building of Central Cultural Hall and one of housing estates,” Kuleba wrote.

He also expressed gratitude to Nausėda for Lithuania’s continuous support for Ukrainians.

“Thousands of our residents have taken refuge from the war within the territory of this country. The Lithuanian people welcomed our citizens with an open heart. Meanwhile, the Government of the friendly state provides significant military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine,” Kuleba added.

A reminder that President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda paid a visit to Kyiv on July 28, 2022.
