Ukraine, India foreign ministers discuss strengthening cooperation, students’ safety

Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and India, Dmytro Kuleba and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and the issue of security of Indian students.

Kuleba wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“Spoke with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to thank him for India’s humanitarian aid to Ukraine. We discussed ways to strengthen our bilateral cooperation and focused on the safety and security of Indian students. I reiterated that Russia must end its war on Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote.

As reported, on February 24, Russia began a new stage of the war against Ukraine - a full-scale invasion. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential neighborhoods of Ukrainian cities.

At the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, a total of more than 2,500 students from various countries suddenly found themselves stranded in the areas of active hostilities.
