Further defense support and situation at ZNPP: Zelensky had conversation with Macron
The Presidents of Ukraine and France, Volodymyr Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron, coordinated further defense support from France.
President Zelensky wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.
“Held substantive, more than 1.5 hour-long talks with President of France Emmanuel Macron. Told him about the situation at the front and the course of countering RF's aggression. Coordinated further defense support from France,” Zelensky wrote.
The parties also exchanged assessments of the results of the IAEA mission to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
As Ukrinform reported, on August 29, Macron said that nuclear security in Europe must not be weakened as a result of Russia's actions at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. No one can question the sovereignty of Ukraine in the context of this NPP.
