Stefanchuk hands over list of Ukraine's military needs to Pelosi
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk met with Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and handed over a list of Ukraine's military needs to her.
Stefanchuk wrote this on his Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
"This is a conversation between real friends. A conversation about the atrocities of the Russians, the torture of civilians in Izium and many cities that the Russians came to ‘liberate’... About sanctions against the Russian Federation, a ban on issuing visas to Russians and Russian propaganda. And, of course, about support. Support for Ukraine! We need weapons - the list of military needs was handed over to honorable Nancy Pelosi," Stefanchuk wrote.
In addition, he thanked the United States for its leadership in consolidating world support for Ukraine. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada also expressed his gratitude to the U.S. Congress for allocating almost $53.6 billion since the beginning of the full-scale aggression.
"We are united in the main thing. No one has the right to draw a new map of the world and impose their imperial ambitions on other countries," Stefanchuk added.
As reported, on September 14, Stefanchuk arrived in Berlin, where he will take part in the Conference of Speakers of the Parliament of the Group of Seven countries.
