PM Shmyhal invites India to become one of guarantors of Ukraine's security
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal conveyed President Volodymyr Zelensky's offer to India to become one of the guarantors of Ukraine's security after the war and invited the country to join post-war reconstruction.
"I met with India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. I thanked the government and the people of India for the humanitarian aid to our country. I dispelled the myths of Russian propaganda about the grain initiative and the Zaporizhzhia NPP," PM Shmyhal posted on Telegram.
Shmyhal stressed the need for joint efforts to extend security corridors for Ukrainian grain and demilitarize the ZNPP and thanked India for its willingness to stand up for these issues. He also pointed out the need to join forces to stop Russia's war against Ukraine.
"We will be happy to welcome India’s leadership to Ukraine," the Head of Government added.
