U.S. Congress to consider recognizing Russia as state sponsor of terrorism
A bill has been tabled in U.S. Congress to recognize the Russian Federation as a state sponsor of terrorism.
That’s according to a senior adviser to Congress, Paul Massaro, Ukrinform reports.
Also, American lawmakers will also consider the issue of recognizing Russia's actions as genocide of the Ukrainian people.
The Congress will consider the recognition of the actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine as genocide. Senator Lindsey Graham and House Representative Ted Lieu are demanding that Russia be recognized as a terrorist state, according to Massaro.
As reported, overnight Sunday, October 9, the invaders attacked the residential quarters of Zaporizhia with S-300 and Kh-22 missiles. Dozens of households, two apartment blocks, and other civilian infrastructure came under fire.
