Zelensky, Cassis hold meeting in Kyiv
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis have met in the city of Kyiv and discussed further cooperation in response to the Russian terror.
The relevant statement was made by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I welcome President of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis to Kyiv. This visit shows the impossibility of maintaining neutrality in times of challenges to the security of our entire continent and humanity,” Zelensky wrote.
In his words, the key topic of negotiations was further cooperation in response to the Russian terror.
The President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Switzerland for the principled condemnation of Russia’s criminal attempt to annex Ukrainian territories and support for the EU sanctions packages.
