Zelensky, Macron discuss defense capabilities, infrastructure reconstruction

President Volodymyr Zelensky in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron announced specific decisions on strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and initiatives to restore destroyed energy infrastructure.

The Ukrainian president wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

“Extremely important and productive conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. Specific decisions on strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities. Specific initiatives to restore the destroyed energy infrastructure. Thank you, my friend, for your unwavering support,” Zelensky wrote.

As reported, according to data provided by regional military administrations, Russian forces attacked eight regions of Ukraine on October 31. Russian terrorists continue to attack Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure, including the energy infrastructure.
