The presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit will send the wrong signal to global political elites.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Putin's presence at G20 – totally wrong signal to global political elites. Especially for those who want the "crown of an autocrat". Non-returning point was passed: whoever commits genocide in Ukraine must be an outcast, isolated from civilized world. Still not too late to fix it," Podolyak said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier said that Ukraine would not participate in the G20 summit in Bali if the Russian president were present there.

On November 15-16, Indonesia is to host the G20 summit. The Ukrainian president was invited to attend the event.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is demanding that Russia be expelled from the G20 after Putin admitted the fact that he ordered missile strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure.
