President Zelensky, Dutch FM Hoekstra hold meeting in Kyiv

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstra in Kyiv, and expressed gratitude to the Netherlands for its support for Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I thanked for the understanding of conditions our people are living in now and what Ukrainians are fighting for. I am also grateful to Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte for strong support for Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Zelensky wrote.

A reminder that Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstra paid a visit to Kyiv on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Together with colleagues, he had to hide in a bomb shelter due to Russia’s missile attack on the capital city of Ukraine.
