Zelensky, Sunak discuss protection of Ukrainian and European energy security
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak have discussed the protection of Ukrainian and European energy security.
The head of the Ukrainian state announced this at a briefing following the meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Today, we discussed with Mr. Prime Minister our possibilities in protecting Ukrainian and European energy security," Zelensky said.
According to him, the head of the British government provided meaningful proposals on this issue. Zelensky also emphasized that Ukraine is counting on the UK support.
As reported, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in Kyiv on Saturday, November 19 and met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
