Russia’s goal to create another migration crisis in Europe, coerce Ukraine to peace - Yermak

Russia’s strategy involves trying to sow a massive humanitarian disaster and provoke yet another refugee crisis in Europe – all to coerce Ukraine to peace.

That’s according to Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Ukrinform reports.

“The Russians strike on peaceful cities. They hit civilian objects – from houses to hospitals and schools. They threaten to release destructive forces of nature. These are the elements of their malign strategy. Their goal is obvious: to cause a large-scale humanitarian catastrophe, to provoke another refugee crisis in Europe. It's either force Ukraine to make peace or force the West to force Ukraine to make peace,” Yermak tweeted on Tuesday.
