Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, said that Russia’s occupation of Crimea is a criminal offense that has no statute of limitations.
Podolyak wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.
“International law is inexorable: Crimea – territory of Ukraine. Any attempt of ru-thief to call the return of a stolen item to Ukrainian owner as "alienation" is legally void. Russia will lose to realize that stealing territories is a criminal offense. Without limitations statute...” he wrote.
As reported by Ukrinform, Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President's Office, said he is sure that a campaign on returning Crimea to Ukraine will take place.
