President Zelensky meets with Foreign Ministers of Baltic, Northern European states
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland and Sweden and thanked the Baltic states and Northern Europe for their consistently active and efficient support for Ukraine in defending its territorial integrity and independence.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I thank the Baltic and Northern European states for their consistently active and efficient support for Ukraine in defending its territorial integrity and independence,” Zelensky wrote.
According to the President of Ukraine, the visit paid by Foreign Ministers is an important signal of strong support and solidarity of friendly partner countries with Ukraine, especially in times of the most serious challenges.
A reminder that, on November 28, 2022, Estonian Foreign Affairs Minister Urmas Reinsalu, Icelandic Foreign Affairs Minister Þórdís Kolbrún R. Gylfadóttir, Latvian Foreign Affairs Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs, Lithuanian Foreign Affairs Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, Norwegian Foreign Affairs Minister Anniken Huitfeldt, Finnish Foreign Affairs Minister Pekka Haavisto and Swedish Foreign Affairs Minister Tobias Billström arrived in Kyiv to discuss further support for Ukraine.
