Ambassador Brink on Zelensky’s visit to the United States: It was a great team effort

United States Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget A. Brink has noted the role of her Ukrainian counterpart, Oksana Markarova, in organizing the visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the United States.

The relevant statement was made by U. S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget A. Brink on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Lucky to work so closely with my sister ambassador – and close and valued partner – Oksana Markarova, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S.,” Brink wrote.

In her words, supporting President Zelensky’s visit to Washington, including the White House meeting between the two Presidents, was a great team effort.

A reminder that, on December 21, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky paid an official visit to the United States, where he met with United States President Joseph Biden and delivered a speech to the Congress.
