Netherlands to allocate EUR 2.5B in 2023 to support Ukraine

The Netherlands will allocate EUR 2.5 billion in 2023 to support Ukraine.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"As long as Russia continues its war against Ukraine, the Netherlands will provide assistance to Ukraine. Military, humanitarian and diplomatic. We're allocating €2.5 bn for this in 2023. Ukraine can rely on the Netherlands. We just confirmed this in our conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky," Rutte wrote.

The Netherlands has already provided almost EUR 1 billion worth of military aid to Ukraine.

The Netherlands will also supply Ukraine with heavy military equipment. The total cost of the next aid package is EUR 120 million, of which EUR 45 million is being allocated for T-72 tanks.
