Biden, Rutte discuss further support for Ukraine
U.S. President Joe Biden and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte during a meeting in Washington discussed further support for Ukraine.
This is said in a statement released by the press service of the White House, Ukrinform reports.
“They (the interlocutors – ed.) reviewed our steadfast political, security, economic, and humanitarian support for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s brutal war of aggression, including our efforts to hold Russia accountable for its abuses and for the war crimes committed by Russian forces,” the statement says.
The leaders also talked about strengthening democracy, respect for human rights, and the rules-based international order around the world.
As reported by Ukrinform, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte said that his country was considering sending a Patriot missile system to Ukraine.
