Embassy of Israel re-opens in Kyiv
On February 16, 2023, Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Eli Cohen raised the flag of the State of Israel at the Embassy in Kyiv. Hence, the diplomatic mission of the State of Israel has fully resumed its work in Kyiv.
The relevant statement was made by Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Eli Cohen on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The Israeli flag is again flying over the Embassy in Ukraine. For the first time since the beginning of the war, today I have fully re-opened the Embassy of Israel in Kyiv together with Ambassador Michael Brodsky,” Cohen wrote.
Cohen added that Ukraine is a friend of Israel, and the further activities of the Embassy and its employees, working under challenging conditions there, will contribute to strengthening the relations between the two countries.
A reminder that, on February 16, 2023, Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Eli Cohen arrived in the city of Kyiv, for the first time since the Russian full-scale invasion started.
