Shmyhal discusses European integration, post-war reconstruction with Prime Minister of Croatia
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has stated that Croatia's experience in European integration, post-war reconstruction, veteran policy, and mine clearance is extremely valuable for Ukraine.
"I am glad to welcome Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković to Kyiv. We greatly appreciate the help of our Croatian friends throughout Russia’s full-scale aggression," Shmyhal posted on Telegram.
According to him, Croatia is a state that successfully fully integrated into the European Union despite the difficult path of post-war recovery.
"For us, experience in European integration, post-war reconstruction, veteran policy, and mine clearance is extremely valuable. And Croatia is ready to provide support in these areas. In particular, it is preparing initiatives at the level of the European Commission to help Ukraine in humanitarian demining," Shmyhal emphasized.
As reported, Croatian Defense Minister Mario Banožić said that his country, which has experience in eliminating the consequences of war in its territory, can help with the humanitarian demining of Ukrainian lands.
