PM Golob: Slovenia is ready to take part in restoration of Ukraine
Slovenia supports the peace formula of President Volodymyr Zelensky and is ready to take part in the restoration of Ukraine.
This was discussed at the meeting between Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Prime Minister of Slovenia Robert Golob.
"Slovenia supports the peace formula of the President of Ukraine and is ready to take part in the restoration of our state. I am grateful to Prime Minister Robert Golob for his strong support. Following our meeting, we signed a joint statement in which we condemn Russian terror against the civilian population and infrastructure and emphasize the need for the immediate and complete withdrawal of all Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine within the internationally recognized borders," Shmyhal posted on Telegram.
Slovenia expressed its support for Ukraine's accession to EU and NATO and declared its readiness to help with further integration and strengthening of defense capabilities.
The heads of government also emphasized the importance of investigating Russian war crimes to hold the perpetrators to account.
As reported, Prime Minister of Slovenia Robert Golob makes a working visit to Ukraine on March 31.
On Friday, Shmyhal also met with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković in Kyiv. They discussed, in particular, Croatia's assistance in demining and veteran policy.
