Polish PM not ruling out Russia’s war against Ukraine could last several years longer

The Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, believes that Moscow's war against Ukraine could last for several years.

According to Ukrinform, he said this in an interview with NBC News

"We are not calculating any precise date, we simply observing what is happening on the front-line, on the battlefield. And accordingly, we try to adapt to the situation, and work through our diplomacy on our partners and with our partners in Western Europe to support Ukraine," Morawiecki said.

Answering the question of an NBC journalist whether this war could last for several years, the Polish Prime Minister said that it is possible.

As reported by Ukrinform, the German government has approved Poland's application to export MiG-29 fighters from the former GDR to Ukraine.

Last week, Polish President Andrzej Duda informed that Poland had already handed over eight MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine and was preparing to hand over six more fighters of this type.
