Ukraine's foreign minister to visit Iraq on Apr 17
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will pay a visit to Iraq on Monday, April 17.
According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko said this in a post on his Facebook page.
"The Ukrainian foreign minister's trip to the Middle East continues the strategy of opening new horizons in the world and creating new opportunities for the Ukrainian state, business and citizens," he said.
In Baghdad, Kuleba is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein.
The parties will discuss the development of the political dialogue, the increase in trade and interaction within international organizations.
Early this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani discussed the intensification of interstate cooperation and Ukraine's peace formula.
