Kuleba, Borrell talk arms, ammo supplies to Ukraine
Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and EU High Representative Josep Borrell discussed the supply of weapons to Ukraine, as well as Kyiv and Brussels’ recent contacts with Beijing.
Kuleba announced this on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"During our call, Josep Borrell and I discussed latest contacts of Ukraine and the EU with China, as well as ways to deepen ties with countries of Latin America,” Kuleba tweeted.
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that he had also asked the High Representative of the European Union "to urge EU member states to speed up the delivery of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine."
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on April 26, Volodymyr Zelensky had an hour-long phone call the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.
The leaders discussed the entire complex of topical issues of bilateral relations. Particular focus was put on a possible interaction with the aim of establishing a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
