Zelensky meets with Finland’s speaker, Norway’s PM
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Speaker of the Parliament of Finland Petteri Orpo and Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre.
Zelensky wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“During the meeting with Petteri Orpo, I thanked for supporting our country in these difficult times of fighting against Russian aggression. I am grateful to the Finnish people for such a great and powerful support for our people and, of course, our military on the battlefield. After all, our key task today is to de-occupy all our territories,” Zelensky wrote.
At a meeting with Jonas Gahr Støre, the parties focused on the situation on the frontline and the defense support Ukraine receives from Norway.
“I thank the people, the government and the parliament of Norway for supporting our people and our military, the entire Ukrainian society,” the President stressed.
As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Finland on a visit to participate in a Nordic summit.
