We no longer send any messages to Putin – President of Ukraine

Ukraine no longer sends any messages to Russia or Putin, either with its actions or through meetings with the representatives of the civilized world. Ukrainians are fighting for their state and on their land only.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a joint press conference with the Presidents and participants in the Nordic-Ukrainian Summit in Finland’s Helsinki, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

When asked whether this meeting is some kind of message to Russia, the President of Ukraine said: “We no longer send any messages to Russia and President Putin. We are fighting for our state and on our land only. We do not care for what is happening in Russia and to Russian citizens. We do care for what is happening to Ukraine, on whose territory Russian aggression has come.”

In his words, Ukraine’s only message to the entire world is to unite for the sake of peace.

“I have a message only for the whole world that has not been involved in the occupation of our independent territory. This message is to unite in order to oust the Russian Federation from our independent, sovereign territory, so that the war ends. I believe that all states that really want peace on the European continent, in the whole world, should unite in order to end this war,” Zelensky stressed.

A reminder that, on May 3, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was paying a visit to Finland and took part in the Nordic-Ukrainian Summit in Helsinki.
